Request Extra Patrol / Vacation Property Check

Should you notice or witness a problem in the community you believe needs extra attention from the Police Department, call Central Dispatch at (540) 463-9177 and they will have an Officer check on your concern.  Please call 911 for emergencies.

The Lexington Police Department provides “Vacation” watches to cities residents homes while they are out of town for up to 2 weeks.  If you are interested in us checking on your home while you are away, please complete the vacation watch form and drop it by the Police Department located at 11 Fuller St. several days before you leave or email it to lexpolice@lexingtonva.gov.  Please make sure the form is filled out in its entirety and we will contact you if we find any problems.
